It is our pleasure to host our first official community planning Charrette Event! Over the last two years our team at Grace Housing Complex has been working diligently to spark much needed change within the South Deering, Englewood and Roseland Communities. In the beginning of 2017 we embarked upon our "Say Grace" Initiative first targeting the South Deering community. The "Say Grace" Initiative is our call to action to the community, by utilization of tactical guerrilla marketing strategies by means of community assessment, surveys, workshops, programming, and social media campaign.

The Charrette will discuss our progress over the past year as we embarked upon our mission and also act as a community planning session where we will convene community leaders, activist, residents, organizational board members, staff and our supporters. The event will feature an open group discussion where we will address the needs of our particular service areas, as well as an idea mining session in which we will collectively create long and short term solutions to tackle the issues. We will discuss topics in regards to Housing, Education, Health & Wellness, Workforce Development and Financial Literacy.

We are seeking to convene 40-50 total participants, all guest MUST RSVP before the event date. Guest will be added to our official Guest List. Those who are not on the Guest List WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ENTRY TO THE EVENT.

Free food will be served to participants from 5pm - 6pm so early arrival is recommended for all those who plan on attending.

Due to the nature of this event we are asking that all participants be 25+ years of age.
